Your New Role
As the Manager, Accounting, you will play a key leadership role within the finance team, reporting directly to the senior finance leader. This is a hands-on position with responsibility across property accounting, development accounting, and corporate accounting, requiring both strong technical execution and people leadership.

The role is weighted primarily toward commercial property accounting, with additional exposure to development activity and corporate initiatives. You will oversee full-cycle accounting, review financial statements, support budgeting processes, manage compliance requirements, and approve treasury-related activity. You will also lead and mentor a small accounting team, working closely with operational groups to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent financial outcomes.

This role offers real ownership, visibility, and accountability, rather than a narrow or siloed mandate.
What Sets You Apart
You are a strong, hands-on accounting professional with meaningful experience in real estate or similarly complex environments. You bring deep knowledge of property accounting fundamentals, including lease accounting and recoveries, and are comfortable operating in high-volume settings with multiple priorities.

You have experience leading or mentoring junior accounting staff and take a calm, steady approach to managing workloads and deadlines. You communicate clearly, work well with operational stakeholders, and are comfortable navigating direct or demanding personalities without escalation.

You are detail-oriented, dependable, and resilient under pressure, with a practical mindset and a willingness to step in alongside the team when required. You value consistency, accountability, and long-term career growth over short-term moves.

Compensation
The expected base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. The position is eligible for a target bonus of approximately 15%, along with a competitive benefits program and retirement savings support. The role operates on a hybrid model, with time spent both remotely and in a downtown office environment to support collaboration.
