A well-established, seasonal service-based organization in
East Ottawa
is seeking a
Bookkeeper
to support day-to-day financial operations. This is a full-time, onsite role within a growing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Manage payroll processing and related remittances
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper coding of transactions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking as required
- Liaise with external accountants and support audit or tax preparation as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency with accounting software - SAGE 50 is a must
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range:
$55,000–$65,000
, depending on experience - 6 PTO days plus 2 weeks of vacation
- Benefits eligibility after
90 days
