Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. The Server will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience through attentive service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
  • Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests professionally

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
  • Familiarity with food handling, serving, and food safety protocols
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
