**Duties and Responsibilities Include**:

- Responsible for the preparation of all food according to posted menus using standardized recipes
- Monitor quality and palatability of all foods prepared
- Follow a pattern of performance to provide high quality products
- Ensure that all food being placed in storage is adequately wrapped and dated
- Prepare special diet meals according to specifications
- Follow proper food handling procedures
- Other related duties as assigned

**Skills and Experience**:

- 2 years practical experience is required
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Chef training and/or Culinary Management Diploma is required
- Certified Food Workers Course is required
- Valid Red Seal Certificate is required
