The Landmark Group, an award-winning landscape company specializing in high-end residential design, build, and property care, is looking for a dedicated Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. Position:

We are currently looking to hire a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member. Our ideal candidate has experience in trimming, weeding, cultivating, pruning and edging, they have knowledge of a variety of plants, a love of the outdoors no matter the weather conditions and posses a positive attitude. Our gardening teams transition to holiday light installations in late fall, giving full-time work for most of the year. During the winter months we do have a short layoff period.

Position Overview
From April to November, you will:

  • Maintain residential and commercial properties by weeding, dead heading, trimming, mulching and edging garden beds.
  • Operate and maintain lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with other property care tasks as needed.

From November to December and March, you will:

  • Install and remove Christmas light displays on residential and commercial properties.
  • Ensure decorations meet safety standards and reflect our high-quality craftsmanship.

In January and February, the position transitions to a layoff period, during which you may be eligible for:

  • Employment Insurance (EI) benefits.

  • Physical ability to handle outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Clean drivers abstract and Valid G driver's license.
  • Previous landscaping or property care experience is an asset but not required.
  • Physically fit, and able to lift lbs.
