We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring seamless shipment coordination by collaborating with carriers, customers, and internal teams. This position offers opportunities for skill development and growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities:


• Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods for domestic and cross-border shipments, ensuring timely delivery.


• Source and negotiate with carriers to secure cost-effective shipping rates while maintaining quality service.


• Monitor and manage dispatch operations, addressing any issues or delays that arise.


• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including customs documentation for international shipments.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, customers, and other stakeholders.


• Collaborate with Account Managers to align logistics operations with customer requirements.


• Analyze and resolve logistical challenges, providing innovative solutions to optimize processes.


• Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and communications using logistics systems and software.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within a 3PL or 4PL environment.


• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with carriers and customers.


• Familiarity with customs documentation, including US customs bond and cross-border logistics.


• Proficiency in logistics software and tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Tailwind.


• Knowledge of carrier rate negotiations and compliance management.


• A college diploma in a related field is required.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
