What you'll do

  • Fabricate and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Perform quality inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards.
  • Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements.
  • Lead a team of welders and fitters, providing guidance and support throughout the fabrication process.
  • Manage rigging operations for heavy equipment and materials during assembly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Basic qualifications

  • Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and soldering techniques.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience operating forklifts.
  • Knowledge of machining processes related to metal fabrication.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
