Supervised Access Services Worker – Supervised Access Services

Community Services of Belleville and District (CSBD) is a non-profit, community-based agency serving children, adults and their families in a tri-county area surrounding Belleville, Ontario. Supervised Access Services provides a supportive access environment where families involved in disputes related to parenting time or decision-making responsibility, can visit their children in a safe and supported environment.

One full-time permanent position is available for a Supervised Access Worker. The successful candidate will assist with the daily operation of the service by completing visits and exchanges, and assisting with other aspects of the service including reception and intake, file documentation, entering of data and statistics, scheduling of parental visits, scheduling of staff, clerical administration, management of user fees and recruitment, orientation and supervision of hourly staff, and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the site(s) and inventory related to the service.

As the service is provided in Hastings and Prince Edward, the incumbent will be required to work in any of the service locations. The incumbent will work a flexible full-time work week, which will include evening and weekend hours. The work schedule is designed to meet the needs of the participants in the service. The salary range for this position is $50,698.34 to $55,994.01 per year, or $27.86 to $30.76 per hour, based on a 35-hour work week.

The successful applicant will be a graduate of a post-secondary university or college social service program, with work experience related to social services involving children and families. An understanding of families involved in high conflict, and knowledge of the developmental stages of children is required. Experience working with placement students and volunteers would be beneficial. The successful applicant must provide a clean Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screen prior to commencement of employment. Successful completion of First Aid, CPR and Crisis Intervention Training will be required.
