Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, replacing, and repairing automotive glass with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable using various hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are top priorities.

Duties

  • Remove damaged or broken automotive glass safely and efficiently
  • Install new glass using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure proper fit and seal
  • Inspect vehicles for additional repair needs related to glass or other components
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to complete installations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding service details

Qualifications

  • Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools and power tools
  • Experience with automotive glass installation or repair is highly desirable
  • Ability to lift heavy glass panels safely and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive systems is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work while maintaining high standards of safety and craftsmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
