Overview

Iron Embers Inc. is a small business in Guelph, ON. We have been building premium quality firepits since 2011. We are looking for someone with experience in picking and packing orders, and preparing orders for shipping to join our team. You should be organized and have strong initiative and problem-solving skills. The work is hands-on and varied. Some experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of orders
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory, process orders, and update stock levels
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and organize stock efficiently and safely
  • Packaging products securely and accurately, adhering to safety standards and customer specifications

Skills

  • Skilled in shipping & receiving procedures with a focus on order fulfillment accuracy
  • Certified or experienced in forklift operation
  • Ability to lift and move products exceeding 50lbs
  • Strong knowledge of packaging techniques suitable for e-commerce shipments and large/heavy items
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
