Trandev is hiring a Payroll Coordinator for our Abbotsford, BC location.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Casual Payroll Coordinator to support the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry, timesheet verification, and processing payroll adjustments, while ensuring full compliance with company policies and employment standards. This opportunity is well-suited for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information.

Your role

  • Process and verify timesheets and attendance records.
  • Prepare and submit payroll data for review and processing.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll files and records.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with reconciliations, reports, and other payroll-related tasks as required.
  • Enter paddles for new sign-up work.
  • Review timecards, overtime slips, and training slips.
  • Create statutory holiday calculation sheets for hourly employees.
  • Enter gradual return-to-work hours.
  • Make system adjustments as required (ADP & Mobi Me).

Your profile

  • Previous payroll or administrative experience is required.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP) is a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the transportation industry is an asset but not required.

Your location

  • This is a Casual, On-Call, Unionized Role in Abbotsford / Chilliwack, Work is assigned as needed.
  • Requires flexibility, final schedule to be determined based on operational needs.
