General Dentist Regular Part-Time (One day per week - Thursdays with possible increase of an additional day on a Tuesday) BC Cancer - Abbotsford Cancer Centre Abbotsford, BC BC Cancer is seeking applications for a Dentist to work one day a week in the Oral Oncology/Dentistry clinic at the Abbotsford Centre. The Abbotsford Cancer Centre, located in Abbotsford, BC, offers a full range of services in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Hematology, Oral Oncology, Palliative care and support services such as Nutrition, Clinical Trials and Patient and Family Counseling. As a dentist at the Abbotsford Cancer Centre, you will be a member of an interdisciplinary team made up of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals who are passionate about providing health care to Oncology Patients. Candidates must have a strong interest in oral oncology and strong dental skillset. Candidate should have strong skills in management and care of the medically compromised patient. Also, previous clinical experience with the management and treatment of Head and Neck Cancer patients and experience is preferrable. What you\'ll do Assess cancer patients with dental/oral pain Direct patient care of post-cancer treatment patients, and Resident didactic teaching and clinical supervision Qualifications Degree in DDS/DMD from an accredited academic institution.
