Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our building operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain clean, safe, and organized environments for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning duties including:
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
  • Trash and recycling removal
  • Polishing stainless steel and maintaining high-traffic surfaces
  • Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and building entrances.
  • Report any safety hazards, damages, or unusual incidents to the supervisor or management office.
  • Follow proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, security staff, and other building team members.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or building maintenance roles preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Good communication skills in English (verbal and/or basic written).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in commercial or residential building cleaning.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment (buffers, carpet extractors, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
