About the Role

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Heavy-Duty Cleaners to join our facilities team. This position is responsible for deep cleaning, floor care, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building using industrial-grade equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy-duty cleaning of floors including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as auto-scrubbers, burnishers, carpet extractors, wet/dry vacuums, and pressure washers
  • Deep clean washrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, and high-traffic areas
  • Clean walls, windows, vents, ceilings, and other large surfaces
  • Handle garbage, recycling, and bulky waste removal
  • Perform carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and spot treatment
  • Maintain and track cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols
  • Respond to urgent cleaning needs, spills, and environmental hazards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in heavy-duty or industrial cleaning (preferred)
  • Ability to operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper safety procedures
  • Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Indoor and outdoor work depending on facility needs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
