Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Project Manager on a permanent basis on our Major Projects team in Regina, SK, reporting to the Director of Major Projects. This role requires approximately 15-20% travel time.

What you'll do:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for major capital projects, including greenfield and brownfield initiatives integrated within existing operations.
  • Define project goals and execution strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, contract terms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct and lead Area Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and accountability, ultimately focusing on project delivery
  • Oversee contractor management and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring for complex, high-risk projects.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and deliver strategic reporting, supporting long-term planning and organizational change initiatives.

Who you'll work with:

The Team: You will directly oversee one Area Lead and all Project Managers, supporting their leadership of a diverse team which includes Project Managers, Project Engineers, and a Project Coordinator.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with internal teams within our Co-op Ethanol Complex, Co-op Refinery Complex, Supply Chain, HSSE, and Construction Management, as well as external partners including engineering consultants, EPCM contractors, construction management teams, and their workforce.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Project Management and :

  • Have 15+ years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry with the majority of experience being in project management and leadership.
  • Have experience managing projects greater than $500M in total installed cost.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in engineering or an applied science. A PMP certification is preferred (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and contractors in high-risk environments.
  • Have strong financial and contractual acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for major projects.
  • Have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
