Visionpool Business Services is hiring a Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Has overall program or project performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables which includes applying techniques for planning, monitoring, and reporting, change control, and risk and issue management.
  • Accountable for the management of external vendors and collaborates with vendors on delivery planning, schedule management, status reporting, risk and issues resolution, and coordinates governance approval process.
  • Works closely with the core project team members, which includes a representative from the business unit, IT, and OCM, to collaborate and ensure alignment in project goals and successful delivery of the project.
  • Orchestrates/coordinates activities across the program or project and problems solves with leads to address issues and risks and ensures adherence to key processes and expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risk to avoid delays and cost overruns.
  • Assigns clear roles and responsibilities and provides effective oversight of deliverables and tasks.
  • Ensures projects deliver specified outcomes and meet quality expectations.
  • Creates and manages the overall budget.
  • Regularly updates stakeholders with reports on the progress and performance of projects. Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Follow all standard, practices, and processes related to projects and ensures compliance.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of proven IT program or project management experience in the role of a Project Manager managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience managing cross functional project teams
  • Experience managing predictive, agile, and hybrid projects.
  • Proficiency with project management software.
  • Excellent written skills and employs a disciplined approach to managing project records.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Proven project and resource planning capabilities
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems and find innovative solutions.
  • Experience managing the implementation of SaaS cloud solutions would be an asset
