An investment management firm is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its Finance team.

This position offers broad exposure to the private equity lifecycle and is ideal for professionals who thrive in analytical, detail-oriented environments with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will be responsible for financial reporting, fund accounting, and portfolio analysis across multiple entities. The Fund Accountant will play a key role in preparing quarterly reports, supporting audits, and ensuring data accuracy across the firm's investment portfolio.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, investor reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform fund accounting and reconciliation activities, including capital calls and distributions.
  • Support portfolio valuation, investor reporting, and audit coordination processes.
  • Assist with regulatory, compliance, and tax reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to internal process improvement and system optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with finance and investment teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or fund administration; experience in investment management, asset management, or private equity is an asset.
  • CPA designation (or in progress) preferred but not required.
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-first attitude.
