Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play an integral part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in food preparation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order processing.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; experience in the food industry is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for customers.
  • Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures related to food handling is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.49 per hour
