Progressive Legal Solutions (PLS) is hiring an intermediate Family Law Clerk to support our litigation team at our new office located at 45 Sheppard Ave East. We are close to Sheppard-Yonge subway station and offer a modern, tech driven work environment designed for growth, collaboration, and high quality client service.

This role is ideal for a clerk who enjoys complex cases, court work, fast moving files, and being part of a strong and supportive team. We are known for litigation, advanced use of technology, trial preparation, and a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft Applications, Answers, Motions, Case Conference Briefs, Financial Statements, and all required supporting documents
  • Prepare and manage financial disclosure and deadline tracking
  • File materials through CaseLines, Family Submissions Online, and court portals
  • Support lawyers during conferences, motions, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties
  • Manage high conflict files with professionalism and clear communication
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing and time entries
  • Organize files, prepare summaries, and support full litigation workflow
  • Use LEAP, DivorceMate, and other modern legal tools to streamline work

What We Are Looking For

  • 2 to 5 years experience as a Family Law Clerk in Ontario
  • Strong knowledge of Family Law Rules and litigation processes
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and focused under pressure
  • Strong time management with ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Interest in complex cases, trials, and high intensity files
  • Comfortable learning and using new technology
  • A reliable, team oriented professional who takes ownership of their work
