Accounting Manager

Are you an experienced Accounting Professional (CA/CPA) with at least 4 years experience working in public practice and interested in taking the next step in your career?
Our client, a small to midsize firm with 80 staff, 8 partners and 6 offices across BC, are growing and looking to add a Manager to their team for the Vancouver location.
What really sets the firm apart is their work life balance vision. They really want to finish work at five however, if that is not possible, they actually pay overtime AND have a bonus program.
Growth of the inviduals as well as the team / organization is another key aspect of the organizational culture. They provide training with the partners themselves, have an open door policy, are keen on passing on knowledge, the opportunity to be client facing, leadership training as well as ongoing partner / manager meetings and peer to peer manager meetings.
As the Manager, it is critical you are technologically savvy. You will be communicating with 5 - 8 CPA students who are reporting to you so it is critical you are detail oriented, enjoy reviewing their work and don't mind to be in the office to provide the right training.
Ideally, you have some lead / management experience however, the ability to manage and a cultural add / fit is more critical for this particular position.
