Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial spaces, located in Mount Pearl and St. John's. The ideal candidate will have prior custodial or cleaning experience and be able to work outside of normal business hours (early morning, later evening). This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who have flexible hours, own their own vehicle and take pride in their work.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health standards
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of germs
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low
  • Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Ensure all assigned areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation

Skills

  • Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
  • Good time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframe
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
