Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at assigned facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a focus on quality and efficiency. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
  • Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service

Experience

  • Custodial experience or background in commercial cleaning is preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
  • Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $16.80-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 37.5 per week
