Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations by assisting with medication preparation and compounding operations along with patient service, and administrative tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in pharmacy, hospital experience, or medical terminology to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced environment focused on safety and accuracy.

Duties

  • Accurately measure, label, and package medications
  • Assist licensed pharmacists and registered technicians with non-sterile compounding preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the compounding lab and dispensary
  • Support patient intake processes and provide exceptional patient service
  • Enter orders accurately
  • Manage medication inventory, restocking supplies, and maintaining accurate records
  • Support front-store and workflow needs as required

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual and organized
  • Willingness to learn compounding techniques and pharmacy processes
  • Proven ability to provide excellent patient service and patient care support
  • Prior pharmacy experience or related healthcare experience is advantageous , but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

This position offers training in the community pharmacy environment as well as in a level B compounding lab. It provides and opportunity to grow within a specialized area in pharmacy in a supportive environment. We welcome candidates committed to healthcare excellence and continuous learning. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.08-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
