Nature & Scope → Your Role at Roots

Roots is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to join our B2B / Co-Branded Sales Team focusing on brand-enhancing profitable sales opportunities. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts, driving incremental revenue, and serving as a trusted partner to customers throughout the end-to-end sales and order process.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, commercially savvy, relationship and results focused. Who brings a proactive solution-oriented approach in supporting customers' needs, the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional customer experience without losing sight of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities → How You'll Make an Impact

Account Management & Revenue Growth

Manage a portfolio of B2B and co-branded accounts, serving as the primary point of contactIdentify and execute profitable sales opportunities to grow existing and new accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and new program developmentProactively engage customers to understand business objectives, timelines, and budget parametersOwn the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quoting, negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up, all in alignment with company targets

Business Development

Support new business acquisition through inbound and outbound sales initiativesPartner closely with the Senior Manager, Co-Branded Sales to support strategic growth priorities and account development

Order & Project Ownership

Manage orders from confirmation through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client expectations and company processesCoordinate with internal teams including production, logistics, and operations to deliver on time and proactively resolve any issues which may surfaceAct as the internal voice of the customer to ensure high-quality execution and service

Client Experience & Relationship Building

Deliver a consultative, solutions-oriented sales experience that reflects the Roots brandBuild long-term relationships that position Roots as a trusted and valued brand partnerAddress and resolve client issues or escalations with a customer-first mindset, while balancing company objectives

Qualifications & Experience → The Skills You Bring

3–5+ years of experience in sales, account management, ideally B2B salesProven ability to drive revenue, manage accounts, and close opportunitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills with confidence engaging external clientsAbility to manage multiple accounts and varying customer needs, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with retail, apparel manufacturing and/or embellishment techniques, co-branded merchandise and customization processesExperience working with CRM and order management systemsProactive, solutions-focused approach to both client and internal challengesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
