What You'll Do
As an Optometric Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our patient care team. Your role will include:
Welcoming Patients: Creating a warm, inviting atmosphere while assisting patients with their visit.
Pre-Testing & Diagnostics: Conducting state-of-the-art diagnostic tests to assist our optometrists.
Eyewear Styling & Adjustments: Helping patients find the perfect frame, ensuring optimal fit and comfort.
Clinic Organization & Support: Managing exam rooms, maintaining equipment, and keeping things running smoothly.
Scheduling & Patient Follow-Ups: Handling appointments, patient education, and electronic medical records (EMR) management.
Who You Are
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience as an Optometric Assistant or Optical Dispensing or in the eye care field (preferred, but we're willing to train the right person).
Is eager to grow professionally and learn advanced optometric and dry eye care techniques.
Thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
Is detail-oriented, organized, and loves delivering exceptional patient care.
Has excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanor.
Is tech-savvy and comfortable with EMR systems (or willing to learn).
