UX Designer:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a UX Designer for a 7-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's Toronto office.

Job Description:

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be a strong advocate for the customer, focusing on creating industry-leading experiences across all customer touchpoints. The project involves backfilling a maternity leave and working on the SIJ team's day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities:


• Transform complex problems into elegant experiences


• Create sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards


• Collaborate with development teams to ensure design intent is achieved


• Advocate for the user throughout the project lifecycle


• Participate in planning and facilitating Design Thinking sessions with stakeholders

Mandatory Skills:


• 5+ years of experience as a UX designer


• Proficiency in creating wireframes and prototypes


• 3 years of experience with Figma


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Strong organizational skills


• Attention to detail


• Experience in public site design for banking

Nice-to-Have Skills:


• Animation Skills – Page transition


• Financial Industry experience


• Knowledge of non-registered and registered savings products such as RESPs, RRSPs, TFSAs, and FHSAs

Assignment Length:

This is a 7-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.
