Duties

  • Design and develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, or InVision to visualize concepts effectively.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into compelling user experiences.
  • Create detailed user flows, information architecture, and layout designs that optimize user engagement and accessibility.
  • Apply interaction design principles, design patterns, and responsive web design techniques to ensure seamless experiences across devices including mobile applications and desktop environments.
  • Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, or Web analytics platforms to analyze user behavior and improve UX strategies.
  • Develop prototypes that incorporate motion graphics and visual design elements to enhance usability and aesthetic appeal.
  • Support front-end development teams by providing specifications for HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, RESTful APIs, and other technical requirements aligned with SDLC processes.
  • Perform A/B testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate design effectiveness before deployment.
  • Stay current with industry trends in digital design, web accessibility standards, and emerging technologies like AWS or Unity for immersive experiences.

Skills

  • Proficiency in UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Axure, Balsamiq, Zeplin, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS (Less/SCSS), JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, Bootstrap, Redux, React Express, WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint.
  • Experience designing for mobile devices and responsive web environments with a focus on usability and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with data visualization techniques using tools like Tableau or native integrations within web applications.
  • Understanding of the SDLC process along with Agile methodologies for iterative product development.
  • Ability to gather requirements through stakeholder interviews and translate them into wireframes or prototypes aligned with business goals.
  • Expertise in interaction design principles including user flows, information architecture, layout design, motion graphics, and visual design elements.
  • Analytical skills utilizing Google Analytics 360 or Omniture for data analysis to inform UX improvements.
  • Knowledge of APIs integration for seamless data exchange between systems; experience working with RESTful APIs is preferred.
  • Strong analysis skills combined with the ability to conduct user research and usability testing effectively.
  • Experience working on e-commerce platforms or digital products involving complex product development cycles is a plus.
