B2B Sales Account Representative
Full-Time | Shawnigan Lake, BC | Competitive Base + High-Incentive Commission Structure + Benefits
We are seeking a high-performing, experienced B2B Sales Account Representative to join our head office team in Shawnigan Lake, BC. This role goes beyond traditional sales support—you will manage a portfolio of key accounts, generate new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth through proactive outreach and consultative selling. Approximately 50% of the position involves direct phone and virtual engagement with clients and prospects.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will play a strategic role in strengthening customer relationships, expanding market reach, and supporting the success of our external sales and distributor network.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage existing accounts and high-potential prospects by phone and email to identify opportunities, upsell, and expand sales volume.
- Manage and grow your own book of business, maintaining strong long-term client relationships.
- Generate new B2B leads, conduct needs assessments, and recommend tailored product solutions.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow-ups while tracking all sales activity in Zoho CRM.
- Collaborate with internal and external sales teams to develop strategies that accelerate growth and meet quarterly revenue targets.
- Deliver product education to clients, helping them maximize value from our programs and solutions.
- Contribute to sales forecasting, reporting, and territory growth planning.
- Provide a high level of customer service, resolving issues and ensuring a seamless client experience.
What You Bring
- Must reside on Vancouver Island, within reasonable distance to Shawnigan Lake.
- 3+ years of sales, account management, or B2B sales experience (industrial, retail supply, manufacturing, or distribution sectors preferred).
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong account relationships.
- Excellent phone communication skills, a confident and professional presence, and strong active listening abilities.
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle due to our rural location.
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Zoho preferred), QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter mindset with strong business development instincts.
