Job Overview:

Lobster Boil Seafood House is looking for a seasoned Line Cook with experience in delivering flavorful, high-quality food, and a dedicated Prep Cook with strong kitchen prep skills to join our back-of-house team. A love for food — especially seafood — and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality food consistently, efficiently, and in accordance with food safety standards
  • Stay organized and focused in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to support smooth service and prep flow

Essential Duties:

  • Set up and stock prep stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies
  • Follow prep lists and recipes accurately to prepare food for service
  • Keep a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
  • Follow all safe food handling and hygiene standards
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all ingredients
  • Support other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Comfortable working with seafood and in a seafood-focused kitchen
  • High tolerance for repetition and strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality
  • Self-motivated with the ability to maintain urgency and momentum throughout your shift
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic food handling and preparation knowledge
