Aspen is a growing business looking for people with energy, drive and passion to contribute to our team.*Please do not apply to this posting if you are a residential house painter or field painter with no industrial paint experience. You do need to be residing currently in the local area to be considered.ResponsibilitiesApplication of epoxy/urethane primer and topcoat with airless paint pumpConventional spray pot experience with metallic and urethane paint – 5-year minimum Knowledge of basic preparation of blasted steel to execute specific surface prep requirementsTrouble Shoot and Maintain Pumps (Airless) as well as HVLP guns and 2.5-gallon pressure pots.Ability to achieve wet mill thickness and DFT readings of own workmanshipRead and understand work ordersEnsure and document that all coating is completed accurately and meets customer specs100% participation in all aspects of workplace safety including toolbox talks and proper use of workplace PPEActively adhere to company safety procedures and policiesPerform other duties as required, including effective general clean-up and the accurate and timely completion of paperwork Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environmentKnowledge and experience of media blasting is an assetQualificationsMinimum 7-10 years' experience Industrial Painting or ManufacturingAttention to detail and ability to retain processes within the Coatings DepartmentSelf-motivated with minimal direction based on past work experienceWorking Conditions95% working indoors in a temperature controlled well maintained facility.Physical RequirementsPhysically fit with maximum 50 lbs (overhead crane use over 50 lbsStanding on your feet for a long period of time. Sitting, bending, crouching.The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the dayShift AvailabilityDays (Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pmAfternoons (Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm - 12:30 am) $3.00 shift premiumOvertime available, ability to work longer hours when neededWe OfferCompetitive WagesExtended Health Care & Dental BenefitsAD&D, Life and STD Disability BenefitsEmployee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)Company supplied PPE equipmentGreat work life balanceSafety Boot AllowanceYear-round full time permanent employmentWeekend and Overtime work availableStable careerFamily environment and company cultureApply now to join North America's premier supplier of heavy haul transportation equipment Aspen Custom Trailers is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company poised for significant ongoing growth. Thank you for your interest in Aspen Custom Trailers.
