Overview

We are seeking video editors to work with us.

Key things that will make you successful with us:

  2. You know Davinci Resolve

  3. You know multi camera editing.

  4. You have a great eye for detail and are efficient.

  5. You know your way around the latest in software and AI powered tools.

  6. You check your ego at the door.

Video Editor Duties

  • Use Davinci Resolve to edit videos for the company. You will start on long form videos.
  • Color grade and apply light VFX if needed.
  • Understand what customers want to see.
  • Take and apply notes as necessary
  • Complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Keep track of your hours.

Video Editor Requirements

  • Knowledge of Davinci Resolve
  • Knowledge of automatic sync software such as Syncaila and PluralEyes
  • Understanding of video formats, frame-rates, compressions, codecs, and file enclosures.
  • Understanding of color grading and basic VFX such as using key frames to clean up problems in video.
  • Proficiency and or interest in video and audio geared AI tools such as Podcastle, Adobe Podcast, Gemini, etc.
  • Operation of Mac computers.

Rates are commensurate with experience. Range given for reference, but not an absolute.

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

  • Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
