**About the Role**

Kiyoko Beauty is looking for a creative, detail-oriented **Video Editor & Social Media Coordinator (Hybrid)** to join our growing marketing team. We’re passionate about skincare (especially K-beauty) and want someone who shares that enthusiasm—though you don’t have to be an Asian beauty expert to apply.

In this role, you’ll be part of every stage of content creation—from brainstorming and filming to editing and posting. You’ll help grow our online presence with high-quality, on-trend short-form videos, engaging carousels, and interactive social media content. You’ll manage day-to-day social media channels with 200K+ followers—scheduling posts, keeping our feeds active, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and DMs to keep our community connected and informed. If you love skincare and have a knack for building authentic connections with audiences, this role is for you.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Edit** polished, high-impact short-form videos in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools—adapting to different editing styles.
- **Support** on-set shoots by setting up and adjusting studio lighting/equipment, and resetting between takes.
- **Plan** and manage the content calendar to ensure timely, consistent posting.
- **Write** engaging, brand-voiced scripts that connect with our skincare-loving audience.
- **Brainstorm** and pitch creative content ideas for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with a focus on short-form skincare and beauty content.
- **Organize** and maintain a well-labeled video library for quick retrieval.
- **Craft** captions and **publish** across all platforms for maximum engagement.
- **Create** impactful and engaging daily Instagram stories.
- **Engage** with followers by replying to comments, DMs, and social media requests in a friendly, helpful manner.
- **Required Qualifications**_

**Technical Skills**
- 1+ years of experience in a related role (video editing, social media management, marketing).
- Proficient in short-form video editing with experience in keyframing and colour grading.
- Skilled in any of the following programs: CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Canva or Photoshop skills for creating social media assets.
- Experience on set and understanding of lighting and basic equipment setup is a plus.
- Able to adapt to different editing styles and brand aesthetics.

**Soft Skills**
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong communication skills for handling social media interactions and collaborating with the team.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving priorities.
- Knowledge of skincare (K-beauty knowledge is a bonus).
- **Preferred Qualifications**_
- Experience with managing large social media accounts (50K+ followers)
- Experience with Direct to Consumer (DTC) brands
- Background in beauty, cosmetics, or skincare industry (Bonus if experienced in Asian Beauty)
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Mandarin/Korean) a plus

Pay: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
