Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Java Lead (Java, Angular) with min 10+ years' experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Roles/Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Lead with expertise in Angular and Advanced Java you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust solutions in a hybrid work model. With 10 to 12 years of experience you will contribute to the development of innovative applications ensuring alignment with business goals. Your work will enhance the company's offerings in the Cards & Payments domain impacting the financial technology landscape positively.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Angular and Advanced Java to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Oversee the architecture and design of complex applications ensuring scalability and performance.
• Implement best practices for software development including code reviews testing and documentation.
• Ensure the integration of new technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead the development of technical specifications and architectural designs for new projects.
• Monitor and optimize application performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations particularly in the Cards & Payments domain.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of technology roadmaps.

Qualifications:

• Possess strong expertise in Angular and Advanced Java with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Demonstrate experience in the Cards & Payments domain understanding its unique challenges and opportunities.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Show proficiency in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures.
• Have strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
• Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with relevant certifications being a plus.
