Lexo is seeking candidates for an Sr Java developer. We are looking for inventive and diligent developers who can build robust backend APIs with Java based technologies.

The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of developers under the guidance of Lexo's Senior Leader. You will be well supported by the existing team in familiarizing yourself with existing deployment patterns, and you will be supported by the Senior Leader as you begin building new backend APIs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong Java Core Language knowledge, and Java 8+ new features

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business experts, UI/UX, DevOps, QA, and other software engineers. Expect to be involved in all stages of the SDLC.
  • Design and develop application features in Java using Spring Framework
  • Cooperate with Front-End developers to build web-based single-page applications in using Angular, React, and other popular frameworks
  • Develop testing code (Unit Test, Integration Test, E2E, Stress test)
  • Review and test your peers' code to ensure quality
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint plan meetings and perform tasks related to the Agile (Scrum and Kanban) methodology
  • Maintain open communication with the team of the development tasks
