Job Overview

We're looking for a financial wizard who lives and breathes Excel, thrives on turning data into insights, and understands the story behind the numbers. This role blends financial planning & analysis (FP&A) with a solid foundation in accounting, supporting leadership with clear, actionable financial insights that drive business performance.

You'll partner with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, forecast results, and optimize financial outcomes—all while maintaining accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis, including revenue, expenses, margins, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close to ensure accurate accruals, reconciliations, and variance explanations.
  • Lead and refine budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring assumptions align with business objectives.
  • Prepare insightful management reports and dashboards—turning raw data into clear narratives for executives.
  • Drive process automation and efficiency improvements using advanced Excel techniques (Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, etc.).
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate business initiatives, financial risks, and investment opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of Board and investor presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in financial analysis, or accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statement linkages.
  • Expert-level Excel skills—you're the go-to person for formulas, pivot tables and complex modeling.
  • Experience with financial ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—you can explain financial results to non-financial stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
