is seeking an
Operations Manager
to join their team in the Kitimat region. As the Operations Manager, you will lead a safe, ethical and profitable operation with full P&L responsibility for the local branch consisting of a highly trained team for both environmental and industrial cleaning operations. As a regional leader, you will guide a best in class service, further expanding Clean Harbors geographic footprint throughout the area.

Responsibilities
- Enforce the policies and procedures as they relate to Health & Safety.
- Responsible for H&S issues surrounding projects assigned, including reviewing of operational procedures to assure correct.
- Oversee waste management activities at a customer or group of customer locations.
- Manage and coordinate the efforts and Health and Safety oversite of the Clean Harbors onsite employees for customers' air, water, and/or hazardous waste programs.
- Ensure utilization of all equipment and manpower is maximized
- Develop, monitor and measure against operational and financial KPI's.
- Meet with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any pending complaints or issues.
- Establish processes to measure performance of all personnel to continuously improve performance levels
- Ensure infrastructure and employees are equipped to conduct business efficiently and are able to perform well in their jobs
- Guide the professional development of personnel.
- Develop and ensure compliance with all company and customer policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Live local to Kitimat, B.C.
- 5+ years of facility/operations management experience.
- 2 years of P&L management experience
- 5+ years' experience managing hazardous waste projects/operation
- Valid class 5 driver's license with clean driving record.
- Commercial Driver's license is highly preferred.
