Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community care. This role involves developing and implementing personalized care plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life for diverse patient populations. The Physiotherapist will utilize their expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective treatments and support patient recovery.

Duties

  • Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations of mobility, strength, and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs, including discharge planning and goal setting
  • Administer various physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics treatments, and rehabilitation exercises
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for acute care, inpatient, outpatient, geriatrics, pediatrics, and hospital patients
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home & community care strategies, and self-management techniques
  • Document patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries using EMR systems
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with privacy standards

Experience

  • Proven experience in physiotherapy within hospital settings or outpatient clinics is preferred
  • Strong background in care plans development for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and patients requiring home & community care
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and trigger point therapy techniques
  • Experience working with EMR systems for documentation and patient management
  • Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient care environments as well as home health services
  • Prior exposure to acute care scenarios and hospital experience is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to perform discharge planning effectively for a variety of clinical situations
