Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Experience in MSK, sports injuries, private clinic with EHC billing is asset.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, including medical terminology usage.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care in hospital settings.
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices and advancements in the field.
Qualifications
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Registered Physiotherapist or Resident with experience as a PTA
- Valid physiotherapy license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
