We are seeking a
Junior Accountant
to join growing and dynamic company based in downtown Toronto (Liberty Village). This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, bank transactions, account reconciliations, HST, and expense reports
  • Send monthly invoices, manage the billing contact list and new client set-up forms
  • Respond to client inquiries for invoices, statements and general information
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
  • Work closely with the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, majoring in Accounting
  • 1–2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting processes
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)
  • Exceptional organizational and written communication skills
  • Eager and motivated to take on new challenges and grow within the role
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly resourceful with strong multitasking and time-management abilities
