Foxhole Therapeutic Services is a small private practice based in Moncton, NB, and I'm looking to add a licensed clinician on a contract basis. This role is a good fit for new grads or early-career clinicians who want flexibility and are comfortable taking an active role in growing their own caseload.

Who This Is For

  • Preference: Registered Social Worker (BSW or MSW)
  • Also open to: Registered Counsellors or Psychologists
  • Licensed to provide counselling/psychotherapy in New Brunswick
  • Based in New Brunswick
  • Comfortable building a caseload gradually

Important to Know Up Front

  • Independent contractor role
  • No base salary
  • Paid a percentage of session income
  • Referrals are not guaranteed and caseload growth takes time
  • This role suits clinicians who are comfortable with self-promotion (e.g., maintaining a Psychology Today profile, networking, sharing availability, and engaging in basic marketing efforts)

The Setup

  • Virtual-only work available
  • Office space available:
  • 2 full daytime weekdays
  • 3 evenings per week
  • Optional weekend availability
  • You control your schedule and client load

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with your NB regulatory body
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Comfortable providing virtual counselling
  • Organized, reliable, and self-directed
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset, not required
