Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and marinating meats

- Ensure all food is handled and stored safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

- Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation standards

- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the supervisor

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required

- Knowledge of food handling, food service, and food industry practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

- Understanding of basic kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
