Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Help with meal preparation during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
  • Must possess Food Handler Certificate.
