DESCRIPTION:

We are looking to hire an experienced staff pharmacist for our independent retail pharmacy in North Bay, Ontario.

POSITION DETAILS:

We are looking for full-time Pharmacist able to cover both day and evening shifts throughout the week as well as occasional weekends. Must be comfortable with Kroll and able to excel in a busy work pharmacy. Ideal candidate displays exceptional patient care through extended clinical activity in Professional Services such as MedChecks, Pharmaceutical Opinions, Clinic Days, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in Canada

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy

  • Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada certificate

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with excellent phone etiquette

  • Proficient with pharmacy operating systems (Kroll, PharmaClik)

  • Excellent customer service, leadership and organizational skills

  • Ability to work productively as a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team Injection certification

  • Bilingual skills (French) is an asset

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Proficiency with checking prescriptions/compliance packs for accuracy, counseling on prescription/OTC medications and chronic disease management consulting.

  • Compounding and dispensing prescribed medications

  • Provision of friendly, efficient customer service

  • Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription and OTC products to provide excellent customer service and maximize customer loyalty.

  • Injection & Methadone training

  • Minor Ailments Training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
