Our professional Senior Care company is looking for competent compassionate and dedicated professional personal support workers to assist our clients in non-medical duties. As a PSW, you help clients with everyday tasks such as personal care, transportation, meal preparation, and light housework. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
  • Help clients with physical therapy exercises
  • Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
  • Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
  • Be a pleasant and supportive companion
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

  • Completion of your Personal Support Worker Diploma or the completion of your Nursing degree.
  • Enjoy working in a 1:1 setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment.
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
  • Supportive and compassionate.
  • Take pride in providing high quality care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
