The
Reach Truck Operator
is responsible for moving the tires through the warehouse, either manually or with the help of lifting equipment and for loading/unloading the delivery vehicles. (tires weighting up to 70 lbs)

Salary: 24.48$/h
Full time schedule, Monday to Friday, Shift: 6:30-15:00
Responsibilities

  • Ensure the reception of tires;
  • Load and unload delivery trucks;
  • Move products to locations in the warehouse using lifting equipment;
  • Enter the products in the inventory using a radiofrequency gun;
  • Inspect and report any anomalies on lifting appliances;
  • Operate specialized lifting equipment;
  • Prepare delivery vehicles based on work orders;
  • Carry out the entry of items into the computerized warehouse management system;
  • Enter the items into the computerized warehouse management system;
  • Housekeeping;
  • All other related tasks.

Success Factors

  • Experience operating stand-up lifting equipment and able to operate a reach truck in a competent manner;
  • Warehouse forklift operator competency card (Reach truck and Order Picker);
  • Autonomous and can work with minimal supervision;
  • Comfortable lifting charges up to 100 lbs;
  • Experience with an RF Scanner
  • Customer-oriented and attention to detail;
  • Respectful, reliable and committed to health and safety best practices.
