Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking a Truck Driver (Evening Shift) to join its vibrant team. Successful candidates will reflect Ray-Mont's core values: Quality, Flexibility and Innovation.
As a professional team member of Ray-Mont Logistics the main responsibilities of the Part-Time Truck Driver consist of the following:
Work Schedule:
- Evening shift, Monday to Friday, from 4:00pm to midnight
- Weekly hours can fluctuate due to port demand
- Minimum of 20 hours/week , up to 40 hours/week
- Occasional overtime.
- Occasional Day shifts available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient service to the Transportation Department for container pickup and delivery
- Determine all requirements prior to shift start
- Receive instructions from Dispatchers
- Inspect all incoming/outgoing containers
- Validate the freight of the current trip
- Transport the container from the trip origin point to the trip destination point
- Facilitate the delivery of the container at the trip destination point
Required Qualifications:
- Valid and non-expired Port pass (required)
- Minimum 3 years Port experience (required)
- Off dock experience (required)
- Class 1 (required)
- Minimum 3 years B-train experience (required)
- Experience Operating Tri-Drives (an asset)
- Experience Operating a Shunting Trucks (an asset)
- Good command of English language.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle (the terminal is not accessible by public transportation)
- Must clear background check (criminal and references)
