Job Description:

Position: Outside Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

· Advise customers on product selection.

· Prepare quotations based on client needs.

· Provide technical assistance and information as required.

· Verify and enter customer purchase orders into our system.

· Suggest related or substitute products to maximize offerings.

· Attend product training courses (internally or by suppliers).

· Collaborate with inside sales representatives.

· General customer service duties.

Skills and Competencies:

· College diploma (DEC) or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Instrumentation and Controls and/or Automation.

· Expert knowledge of process measurements (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, and Level).

· Experience in sales and customer service.

· Experience in industrial instrumentation.

· Knowledge of Honeywell industrial products is an asset.

· Knowledge of heaters and heating elements is an asset.

· Technical analytical skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Curiosity and desire to improve knowledge of industrial instrumentation.

· Motivated, dynamic, and versatile with an excellent attitude.

· Initiative to achieve or exceed personal goals.

· Commitment to providing superior customer service.

· Good organizational skills.
