Job Summary:

Olds Family Dental Clinic is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team We have a very established office and team and are looking for the right fit to join us. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help to ensure quality patient care, which is our #1 priority If you thrive in a fast paced and fun environment, this is the office for you

Duties:

  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  • Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
  • Take digital dental x-rays
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a dental office setting preferred
  • Knowledge of AbelDent, Dentrix, Epic, or similar dental software systems
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures

  • Experience with orthodontic dentistry

  • Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM technology is advantageous
