We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. You will be the second assistant/steri assistant. Tuesday to Friday office. Tuesday 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Duties

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
  • Run the steri -centre
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Perform children's recall vists including xrays, cleanings, fluoride.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Manage patient flow within the office.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental assisting techniques.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Registered Dental Assistant, minimum 5 years .
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • RDA Level II

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
