Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role is essential for creating a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn the food industry.

Duties

  • Assist with food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
  • Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and basic dishes
  • Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all safety standards and protocols
  • Serve food to customers or assist in serving areas as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers according to food safety guidelines
  • Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to keep the kitchen organized and sanitary
  • Support inventory management by restocking supplies as required

Skills

  • Experience in serving, food preparation, or food handling preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
  • Basic cooking skills and understanding of food safety standards
  • Knowledge of restaurant or kitchen operations is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to various tasks within the kitchen setting
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in food handling
